This month marks the beginning of something very close to my heart — something my dad, Graham, and I have been talking about for years: a dedicated space where the South African community scheme industry can come together, collaborate, problem-solve, and grow.

I’m thrilled to share that this vision is finally becoming a reality with the launch of the Paddocks Industry Summit: 2025— an online event we’ll be presenting in partnership with my brother Sam Paddock and his new venture, Next Gen Learning (NGL).

With Sam’s deep experience in technology-enabled education and his focus on AI-powered learning, the timing couldn’t be better. Together, we’re creating a virtual summit designed to bring together scheme executives, managing agents, regulators, and thought leaders — not just to talk, but to take real steps toward solving the challenges our industry faces.
